Mea Culpa

I was surprised to hear someone say this recently. I had never heard anyone say mea culpa before that. So what does me culpa mean? Dictionary.com explains it this way:

interjection – my fault! (used as an acknowledgment of one’s responsibility).
noun plural me·a cul·pas – an acknowledgment of one’s responsibility for a fault or error.

That’s an interesting concept for people to actually acknowledge their responsibility and say “mea culpa” on some issue.

In an EPOCH Times article from February, Brian Cates mentions the need for a mea culpa from the journalists that kept reporting “the man who had just won the election was an undercover agent who took orders straight from Moscow.”

The ‘Wrong Scandal’ Keeps Winning

Brian Cates, The EPOCH Times, Febraury 26, 2020

The mantra, commonly referred to as “Russiagate,” was the story that ruled the channels of communication in the United States for two or more years, while the one story that was labelled as conspiracy theory was this thought that the FBI, upon orders of the then current administration, was illegally spying on a political party, the Republican party. How clever, to label it as a conspiracy theory, so that you can have fact checkers come in and just mention to people that it has been reported as a far-right conspiracy theory. That has a goal of turning people away from the issue, to let the main stream mantra of “Russiagate” prosper as the only true story.

In his article Brian Cates mentions that the “wrong scandal” keeps winning. So what was the other scandal not being reported on with any sincerity?

The other scandal is known as Spygate. The EPOCH Times has been reporting on this scandal for over two years now. They even have an info graphic showing all the connections in this scandal. Listen to Gina Shakespeare explain “Why The Spygate Scandal Only Keeps Growing” and why the main stream media, reporting on the wrong side of Russiagate, are doubling down by hiring the main actors who have been proponents for the conspiracy theory known as Russiagate.

Why The Spygate Scandal Only Keeps Growing

So when will we hear a “mea culpa” from the main stream sources who have been reporting on the wrong side of this story? How will that apology affect their viewership? Do people still believe the main stream media reports accurately on all issues?

Gina mentions Crossfire Hurricane in her report. How many people who listen to the main stream media has ever heard of Crossfire Hurricane? Is the main stream media reporting this as another conspiracy theory? It seems to me, when the main stream media reports it as a conspiracy theory, it’s time to look further to see who the major players are and the cover-up activities at play by them to hide an important issue from the American people. After all if they label it a conspiracy theory, no one will believe it right?

So now we are hearing that the FBI knew before the Mueller report was started that the allegations of Russia collusion was fictitious and had no basis. Yet, they propped up this story of collusion and kept it going for two years as America was further divided along political lines.

‘Ironic’: Declassified footnotes show Steele dossier likely compromised by Russian intelligence

by Jerry Dunleavy  | April 10, 2020 05:39 PM  | Updated Apr 11, 2020, 12:59 PM

In his report, Jerry Dunleavy says “The newly unmasked details show that a document circulated among members of the Crossfire Hurricane team in early October 2016 showed that Person 1 had “historical contact with persons and entities suspected of being linked to RIS” — or Russian Intelligence Services.” So now we hear where the Russia interference actually was. The interference by Russia is the Mueller investigation itself. And the collaborators were Mueller, Comey, and Brennan. They were aware that this was Russian interference and they decided to post it as if it was the truth. They acquired FISA Court approval by lying to the FISA court about the true source of the dossier.

Eventually, justice will be served on them, but where is the “mea culpa” from all news outlets that were reporting the collusion as if it were fact?

EPOCH Times has consistently reported the correct side of this story. They do real investigative journalism and they dig for the facts. It is refreshing to see a news outlet reporting on the truth. Something you will not get any longer from the bias of the main stream reporters. The main stream reporters are told what to say and how to say it and if you resist their mantra, you are no longer needed on that station. It’s time for real journalism to come back to America and it’s time for the mea culpa to give them credibility in future reporting.
