As this topic gets started, I like the narrator’s perspective, “I am a lay person. I know nothing. Explain it to me.” Sometimes I feel that same way.

This is a very good thought provoking topic by three top scientists and philosophers. I was amazed that the computer scientist got the most airtime. When they put it in terms of developing a new function which requires new code, that I could understand without explanation.

About at the halfway point they talk about the theory of Intelligent Design, not as a way to somehow bring this into the theological realm, but only as a pure scientific discussion as one possibility based on the information science of molecular biology. Great discussion to ponder on…
